WEEKLY GOLD TUFF STUFF

Happy FriYAY Team!

The word Family is one of the most loosely defined terms in the English language; because it means something different to everyone. While one person may define family as the relatives who share their home, another may consider family to include their beloved circle of friends or their pets as family. Families are vastly different, but they all function under one single premise: shared love and commitment.

Last weekend, we saw Multisport Gold come together as a Running Family for another very successful parkrun On Tour adventure to Underwood Park.

On Sunday, we then saw our Cycling Family embracing the hurt (LOL....or FUN!)) for our Long training rides, having some laughs before rolling out together for various destinations.

Not only within our Multisport Gold Family are we surrounded by like minded athletes, but we also cherish very special moments with, and within, our Real Families.

Our Multisport Gold Family waited with so much excitement & anticipation for the safe arrival of baby n# 2 for Dave & Emmy...and we were all so elated to hear of Baby J's safe arrival on Monday evening!  A new addition to their beautiful little family, and another addition to our Multisport Gold Family.

On behalf of the whole Multisport Gold Family, welcome to the world beautiful Baby Girl Jenkins. We look forward to seeing her carving up swimming pool faster than dad in the coming years !!

Let's do This,

Alli

The Racing Buzz

An FYI to the Crew, Coach Alli is taking a short family holiday from Thursday 26-Sunday 29th January inclusive.  She will not be answering any messages unless an emergency during these few days. Sunday long rides will still go ahead as per programs, remembering this is an aerobic ride & one to enjoy coffee along the way!

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Vol 2 # 2

Saturday 25th February 2023

We have travelled all over the countryside with our parkrun on Tour adventures, and shared so much fun together, its now time to revisit Gainsborough Greens!
Most of us have run this course so know it is flat, fast & a great course to target a pb! And, within the local area meaning the IM & 70.3 can get their extra run kms in!
In true Multisport Gold style, having our squad colours on course will be another great parkrun on Tour to remember!
There is a number of choices we have locally for post run breakfast & coffee, so lets do this Team!

2022-2023 Squad Champions Series

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

This year we’re modifying the rules around the Club Championship to more fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories below. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all! With the Triathlon season commencing as of 1st July 2022, start logging your race results & parkruns now.

Points can be earnt in ALL triathlon AND run distances, so enter your favourite races and be on the start line at parkrun each week!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the Website, click on the Teams Drop Down box and find Club Champs. Simply fill in the tabs and you are on your way!
