WEEKLY GOLD TUFF STUFF

Happy FriYAY Team!

There are many things in my life which I love, other things I can tolerate, and a few things, quite frankly, I have absolutely no desire to have anything to do with!

Wow....what on earth can't Coach Alli deal with I hear you chuckle??!!

Something which plays a huge part of our every day lives ...... Technology!!

Don't get me wrong, when all my apps & devises are working and I know how to operate them, life is good! Zwift, Garmin (randomly!) the TV remotes (yes, plural!) even our new whiz bang new dishwasher, press a button and its happy days!

However, when it comes to I.T ...... I will totally loose it when there is issues with my PCs, internet, emails, social media (saddly, yes!) I have no knowledge or control on how to fix these darn devices, they are way out of my scope of patience to learn how to drive, so I am left helpless and stranded.  Come on, how many of us treat their phones like another child LOL!!

Over the last few weeks, I have been having some major issues with my Multisport Gold emails, and the Website has been very flaky....much to my frustrations.the problem has lingered...to absolutely no fault at our end.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your patience and understanding if I have not received or replied to emails over recent weeks.

More importantly, I would like to extend a HUGE THANKYOU to our I.T Guru, Gordo, who has worked extensively with Captain Cooke to have our issues resolved. You are both insanely talented in your skills, knowledge, planning and patience. I would be completely up the creek without a paddle if not for your incredible rescue feats and your passion for ensuring Multisport Gold remains at the top of Triathlon Tree.

Let's do This,

Alli

The Racing Buzz

As the sun sets and the lights come on at Metricon Stadium on Saturday night, Jase & Coach Alli are in for a fun-filled run at the Gold Coast’s most iconic sporting precinct!  It is certainly going to be heaps of fun seeing ourselves up on the big screen as the course takes us onto the turf & home of the Gold Coast SUNS before we celebrate together at the finish line Festival Village! Looking forward to being part of this iconic event!

With 1 week until the UTMB Tarawera Ultra Marathon, our Multisport Gold athletes are into their taper & getting excited about travelling to Auckland & down to Rotorua.  This year, we have Linda on the start line of the 25km, Martin, Hazel & Coach Alli competing in the 50km event, with our Trail Queen Erin putting it all out there for the 102km Ultra marathon. We look forward to sharing our experiences with you over the duration of our trip!

Therefore, as Coach Alli will be overseas, she will be uncontactable from Wednesday 8th to Monday 13th February inclusive. Captain Cooke will be in charge of swim squad & hills on Thursday 9th, with Coach Alli back on pool deck Tuesday 14th February.

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Vol 2 # 2

Saturday 25th February 2023

We have travelled all over the countryside with our parkrun on Tour adventures, and shared so much fun together, its now time to revisit Gainsborough Greens!
Most of us have run this course so know it is flat, fast & a great course to target a pb! And, within the local area meaning the IM & 70.3 can get their extra run kms in!
In true Multisport Gold style, having our squad colours on course will be another great parkrun on Tour to remember!
There is a number of choices we have locally for post run breakfast & coffee, so lets do this Team!

2022-2023 Squad Champions Series

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

This year we’re modifying the rules around the Club Championship to more fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories below. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all! With the Triathlon season commencing as of 1st July 2022, start logging your race results & parkruns now.

Points can be earnt in ALL triathlon AND run distances, so enter your favourite races and be on the start line at parkrun each week!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the Website, click on the Teams Drop Down box and find Club Champs. Simply fill in the tabs and you are on your way!
