Happy FriYAY Team!
Working on yourself is, and should be, a work in progress, and there is a million different ways we can accomplish this every single day.
Over the weekend, it was so inspiring to see our Team mates supporting and encouraging Justin L as he ventured down to Tassie for the 1st Hobart 70.3 event. In the weeks leading into this race, he had numerous shift work hours and a chest infection which put a halt to his training. Not once did he quit or give up, despite the roller coaster ride, each day he found a way to accomplish things better than the day before. This was evident in his race & race result, a result we are all so proud he achieved!
Looking at the squad cycling photo rolling out from Oxenford Lake on Sunday morning, every single person in that photo was about to put in their best effort for this ride, to accomplish their goals, overcome fears both mental & physically, with the end result of progression.
Just because we achieve something one week, or have our sights set on a particular goal, our continuing journey should always be evolving & changing, we should never be standing still.
Ask yourself ongoing questions, try new things, be daring once in a while, and know that your Work in Progress is expanding each and every day.
Let's do This,
Alli |

We have travelled all over the countryside with our parkrun on Tour adventures, and shared so much fun together, its now time to revisit Gainsborough Greens! Most of us have run this course so know it is flat, fast & a great course to target a pb! And, within the local area meaning the IM & 70.3 can get their extra run kms in! In true Multisport Gold style, having our squad colours on course will be another great parkrun on Tour to remember! There is a number of choices we have locally for post run breakfast & coffee, so lets do this Team! |
