Happy FriYAY Team!

As we turn over the calendar for another month, we see ourselves full steam ahead into March. And what a jam packed month of racing it is going to be !

We have numerous members of our Team heading off to Mooloolaba, Kingy Tri, Noosa Ultra, and sneaking in for the beginning of April is the Tour de Brisbane!

All of our Team have been putting in the hard work over the recent weeks & months, and whilst some of these races are not A Races, it is certainly a great opportunity to blow away some cob webs and get fired up  for the back end of the race season.

At each of these races, we should be taking away positives & yes, those negatives, which will allow us to become stronger, smarter and more resilient athletes. One aspect of Coaching I always embrace is receiving feedback from racing & training on what worked & perhaps what didn't work so well.....giving us direction and clarity as we continue in our sporting journey.

Jump on those TT bikes, lace up those trail shoes, put on your race kit and be proud of all you have worked so hard for.

Let's do This,

Alli

The Racing Buzz

parkrun on Tour last Saturday was once again such a great turnout for our Crew at Gainsborough Green! There was so much colour around the course with the run community celebrating parkruntheworld day. And of course, Sharyn's 200th parkrun!! A fabulous morning yet again, all finished off with laughter, chats and a scrumptious breakfast. The month of March is jam packed with racing, so our next parkrun on Tour will be in April. Details are below and on our Facebook Events.

Entries also opened for GCM on Wednesday, make sure you use the Team Name Multisport Gold and Team Pin MSGold123 to be part of our Team over the race weekend! It is going to be interesting to see who is tackling various distances this year!

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Vol 2 # 3

Saturday 8th April 2023

Multisport Gold parkrun on Tour Vol 2 # 3 will see us return to the very picturesque course at Surfers Paradise. Many of the Crew have participated on this course, a few loops around Evandale Lake, a few crossings of the new bridge, really does make it a very scenic course to run. This is a fast course, so bring out those speedy shoes!
The Port Crew will have their long runs before being back on the start line at 7.00am, details to follow.
We will finish with a swim in the Lake, saying Hello to Mr Fishy ðŸ™‚ then a stroll over the bridge for coffee & cake!
Look forward to seeing our crew at one of our favourite parkrun venues.

2022-2023 Squad Champions Series

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

This year we’re modifying the rules around the Club Championship to more fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories below. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

Points can be earned in ALL triathlon AND run distances, so enter your favourite races and be on the start line at parkrun each week!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website here. Simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way!
