Happy FriYAY Team!

What would the present day YOU, tell the YOU of 5 years ago? From time to time, especially when I have had a hard day or a training session I'm not happy with, I love the process of looking back and reflecting on how far I have actually come. Certainly keeps me grounded and puts many things back in perspective!

I certainly don't live in the past, whilst my proudest race results and life milestones are extremely important to me, they are not who I am and therefore don't rule my future. Over coming injuries, entering Ultra marathons, another Ironman, raising children and making hard changes have been part of my 5 year journey.....and know I'm living my true self.

Reflecting back is a great way to remind ourselves of our personal achievements, breakthroughs, changes, growth and everything else in between.

I'm now wondering......what would you go back & tell yourself?

Let's do This,

Alli

The Racing Buzz

THIS Sunday is Kingy Tri, where once again a great representation by the Multisport Gold Crew. Yes, getting up at Stupid O'clock is never fun when we race at Kingy, however this just means we have an extra hour of burgers, beers & laughter at Kingscliff SLSC afterwards! We have a booking for 12pm :-) We are currently in the process of having a new Squad tent made up with our new sponsors, so we will NOT have our tent at this race. HOWEVER, our sister Club in NSW, Des Gooda Coaching has generously offered us space under their Tent. I have told Des we will be on our best behavior LOL LOL!!! Look forward to seeing many of our squad out & about on course.

Congratulations to our athletes who were on the start line at Mooloolaba tri last Sunday. I have heard reports of a choppy swim, little wind on the bike and an oven on the run so you should all be happy with yourselves & your results given the challenging conditions.  Congratulations to Marion who won her category and is now National Champion. Hubbie Phillip proudly raced home for a bronze medal.

Entries also opened for GCM on Wednesday, make sure you use the Team Name Multisport Gold and Team Pin MSGold123 to be part of our Team over the race weekend! It is going to be interesting to see who is tackling various distances this year!

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Vol 2 # 3

Saturday 8th April 2023

Multisport Gold parkrun on Tour Vol 2 # 3 will see us return to the very picturesque course at Surfers Paradise. Many of the Crew have participated on this course, a few loops around Evandale Lake, a few crossings of the new bridge, really does make it a very scenic course to run. This is a fast course, so bring out those speedy shoes!
The Port Crew will have their long runs before being back on the start line at 7.00am, details to follow.
We will finish with a swim in the Lake, saying Hello to Mr Fishy ðŸ™‚ then a stroll over the bridge for coffee & cake!
Look forward to seeing our crew at one of our favourite parkrun venues.

2022-2023 Squad Champions Series

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

This year we’re modifying the rules around the Club Championship to more fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories below. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

Points can be earned in ALL triathlon AND run distances, so enter your favourite races and be on the start line at parkrun each week!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website here. Simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way!
