Happy FriYAY Team!

Yesterday I received an email from TQs very organized Technical & Sanctioning Manager about the 2023 Triathlon Queensland 'Champions of Queensland' Awards.

These yearly awards are to recognize and congratulate outstanding performances and services to the sport of Triathlon through the season. And each year, I make a mental note & put it on my jobs list,  that I have to cast my vote. And each year when the winners are announced, I kick myself that I didn't make 5 minutes in my day to submit my nominations.

I love that within our Team, we are constantly acknowledging and supporting our achievements through out chat & Facebook pages, and it is a thrill to have a Sunday Shout Out! And for those down at Port, the elation & pride we all felt when our small Team was announced as 2nd place in the TriClub Championships. It was an amazing feeling to be recognized for our racing efforts.

So today, I have cast my vote on a few people throughout the  season who have gone above & beyond the standard and deserve to be recognized. These people set the bar for the rest of us to strive to acheive, allowing standards to contiue to be raised from season to season. With my nomination placed, and every vote counting....these people are now in there with a chance to be awarded for their outstanding contributions to this sport we love so much.  I will post a link on our Facebook page later today for those of you who would like to cast your votes as well.

Let's do This,

Alli

We also sad Kahori & Eiji representing in the 30km run in their prep for the GCM Double in July. Kahori & Eiji are such a huge part of our Family, and it was so exciting to see them both finish this race feeling great and with really consistent splits. Congrats Neill, Kahori & Eiji

2022-2023 Squad Champions Series

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

This year we’re modifying the rules around the Club Championship to more fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories below. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

Points can be earned in ALL triathlon AND run distances, so enter your favourite races and be on the start line at parkrun each week!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website here. Simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way!
