Happy FriYAY Team!

As the running season starts to fizzle out for another year, we start to get excited about the new Triathlon season which kicks off in a few weeks time with Sunny Coast 70.3. Sure, may of the crew are doing this race, but for those who aren't, you should still be really proud of your journey.

We are all training to get better / to go faster / to go further, so that doesn't mean where you currently are now, isn't good enough! We all can be, and should be, super proud of today!

If you are thinking of achieving X pace or Y distance, is that going to make you feel like you have accomplished a target and good about yourself....yes it will for sure.....but for how long?

Soon you'll be wondering 'What am I capable of next?' So yes, dream big, work hard, set those goals & get out of your comfort zones. But importantly, you don't have to wait until you achieve these goals to feel good, be darn proud of what you can do today!

Let's do This,

Alli

The Racing Buzz

We had a big weekend of racing last weekend, so much going on around the country and overseas!

A huge congratulations to Bretty who raced in the PTO Singapore Open for Experienced Age Groupers. We saw some outstanding racing with the Pro races, setting an atmosphere for the age groupers! Conditions were super hot, the ride was hilly, and spectacular! Huge effort Bretty, you raced so strong, really proud of you!

Congratulations to our girls on their runs at parkrun last Saturday! Kath and Alli posted new age category records and Kellie from Yeppoon had her fastest 5km run ever! Go the Girls!

Sunday is the Brisbane to Gold Coast 100km cycle event which a number of the crew are participating in! This is an exciting & challenging ride, so have fun & ride safe to all our Multisport Gold athletes!

The Girls Out of Office Day has been locked in for Saturday 16th September. The plan is to have a run at Kirra parkrun, then head to the Pasture & Co for a delicious breakfast, followed by some girlie fun at The Bathhouse. There has been a booking made for 7 of the girls already, please head over to the FaceBook page Events for more details & contact Coach Alli if you are keen to be added to this Girls Out of Office Day!

Entries are now OPEN for Port Mac 2024....so who is in and for what distances? Had FOMO this year.....then don't miss out being part of the action next year!

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Vol 2 # 6

SATURDAY 23rd September

Sunny Coast 70.3 is finished, so time to have some fun again on our Saturday mornings at parkrun! So, with winter over & the temps should be above freezing, lets venture up the Mountain to Tambo! This is a course which has it all, a mix of gravel, grass, trails and concrete, but is always such a great challenge over this terrain! Don't be late as Tamborine Mtn starts at 7.00am sharp! (We will arrive earlier for a warm up jog, details to follow on FB)

In true Multisport Gold style, there will be coffee and breakfast afterwards....I think I can smell the coffee already!

2022-2023 Squad Champions Series

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

We have modified the points system, and make sure you know the rules, we are making the Club Championship to fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!
