Happy FriYAY Team!

community. noun

A group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common.

Tonight will see the 2nd On Running Squad Relay here on the Gold Coast, and what an event it is shaping up to be!

For those of you participated in this event last year will remember how much fun it was, the friendly rivalry and the bringing of local run clubs together to do something we love.

This year, the event has over 80 team participating, that's double last year, and potentially ~320 runners! Wow! Add onto that friends, families, supporters, and it is going to be one epic night.

I love it when Communities come together. When communities are bonded with a common interest. When communities raise the bar for each other. And when communities are there to support and encourage everyone.

Yes, there is going to be some very fast teams out there tonight who will be gunning to win & to dominate, and that's what racing is all about right.

But listening to our team chat over recent days, it is so heartwarming to hear that we are out there to represent our incredible club and teammates, and do our best for each other. Regardless of outcomes tonight, I know that we are going to be the loudest and proudest team there!

Time to get those loud voices ready to go crazy cheering for our teammates, and those Multisport Gold colours ready to be a part of the Gold Coast Running Community!

Let's Make it Happen,

Alli

The Racing Buzz

Sunday morning is going to see some red hot racing along Robain parkrway with the QTS Round 3 at Robina. This is a race in our Club Champs series worth Double Points, so lets get out there for a cracking morning of racing team!

Keep 18th November free on your calendars! Our very own Captain Cooke has his 1st official morning as Run Director at Coomera parkrun, so the more Multisport Gold Crew we can have there will be a huge way to show our support!

The date & details for the most important event of the year have been released on the Facebook page! That is of course, our Multisport Gold Christmas Party & Awards. This is going to be another awesomely hilarious year, with the Urban Street Sports making a comeback. We did this a few years back and OMG....I think we all went home with cheeks sore from laughing! The trophies are being engraved and there is a New Life Member being inducted this year.

Entries are now OPEN for Port Mac 2024....so who is in and for what distances? Had FOMO this year.....then don't miss out being part of the action next year!
