Happy FriYAY Team!

Where has this week gone LOL!!! To all those teachers out there, enjoy your last few days of holidays, and to all the parents, its almost time to do a happy dance (as much as we love our kids we love them at school right LOL!)

I really enjoy listening to podcasts, and this week was another one I found so much info to take away. Thought I would share just a snippet of this podcast this week.

One topic the guest was taking about, was the 3 M's in Sport.

M is for Mechanics. So that's our body, our sleep, our nutrition, our recovery, all the things we can control to keep us performing at our best.

M is for Mind Mechanics. They were talking about the tools we develop as individuals to deal with awareness, handle pressure, be able to embrace failure. Its out mental tool box.

M is for Magic. This is the one which hit home with me. For those you have seen Ted Lasso, the Believe sign on the back wall one of the key 'characters' in this show. We have to work towards our personal magic, then keep going through it. It is our effort switch. When effort is required, we just lay it out there and we perform to another level. Doesn't matter if this is a good day or a not so good day, being able to find the force to push through, allowing the magic into our training and racing equation. Being able to believe that we can do it.

Yes, we are all suffering in the heat & the humidity right now, we are all ramping up our training kms, we are in this together, so use your 3 Ms to keep you on that forward trajectory.

Find your Fire,

Alli

2022-2023 Squad Champions Series

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

With the new 2023-2024 Triathlon season kicking off on 1st July 2023, NOW is the time to start logging in your race results. Every parkrun, every race is worth valuable points, so be in it to win and lets see how is going to be our new Club Male & Female Champions!

We have modified the points system, and make sure you know the rules, we are making the Club Championship to fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website here. Simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way!
