Happy FriYAY Team!

Setting goals is part of our journey right? They are about a deep connection, a mental and physical alignment, our personal pull towards our objectives. Our goals should resonate our core values, not just our aspirations.

Goals can be getting to the start and finish line at Port Mac Ironman in 8 weeks time, they can be finishing Raby Bay in a PB time, they can be completing an event which you never thought possible. It can be even be overcoming a long term or frustrating injury!

Each & everyone one of us the opportunity to reach past our comfort zones, wanting to embrace the next level.

Our Training Camp at Port last weekend was such a positive & rewarding few days away. We lived the Pro Life, trained, ate, laughed, creating an environment of our own 'high performance' setting, with clarity and many moments of lightness. We all returned proud of what we had accomplished and excited moving forward.

Yes, there are obstacles which pop up from time to time, yes there are distractions, yes this are times we ask WHY, and yes, there is a thing called Life!

As Age Group athletes, its about getting the balance right. And enjoying this journey with some incredible people who rise us up, make us laugh, and we are so blessed to share this journey with.

The Racing Buzz

Last Sunday saw the Ironman Crew of Bangers, Mashy, Kath, Pete, Maty T & Matty B, Coach Alli, Neill & Danny, as well as Lisa & Renee take part in the Port Mac Run Festival as part of the IM Training Camp. A HUGE kudos to the crew who backed up 3 races to have a total of over 36km run AFTER 2 days of long rides over the Port IM Course. A huge effort from the Team, with a special Congrats to Kath you Won the Female Treble and 2nd in the 1/2M.

We also had Raby Bay last Sunday where MSGold was represented by Sharyn & Jo L, who both put together awesome races, with Sharyn once again up on the podium in 3rd place. So good girls

This Sunday we have the iconic Mooloolaba Tri, ever year brings out the best in athletes as they race around the beautiful Mooloolaba area. This year, we will have Dorz & Sammie, Andre, Martin & Linda, Lou & Jo, as well as Kellie all embracing the atmosphere and having a great hit out. Go Team, we will all be cheering you on!
