Happy FriYAY Team!

Wow WOW and WOW! Here we are, in race week for Port Macquarie Ironman & 70.3!

Sure, Ironman is only 1 day. So much hard work, endless hours of training, the never ending kms, the fatigue, the hunger, the feeling of 'when is this going to end'. However the feeling of utter pride is 100% worth it on race day and crossing that line.....it is honestly a lifetime highlight each time you hear your name called out coming down that red carpet. And yeap, here we are! Almost at race day.

As the Crew start to arrive in Port over the coming few days, its now our time to really embrace the experience that Port Macquarie has to offer us all. Regardless if we are racing or not.

It is an atmosphere filled with hype, joy, excitement and such a positive vibe throughout the town.

You will feel so alive when you arrive, and be so darn proud to be wearing the Ironman or 70.3 athlete wrist bands, its like a badge of honour!

There is also a feeling of excitement for those who remain at home. YOU too have been on this Ironman journey as training buddies, friends and supporters. I guarantee you will be following on the tracker on the day offering your encouragement from afar.

So to all our athletes and our incredible friends & supporters, enjoy these coming few days, celebrate this sport and its community, totally back yourselves and the trainings you have completed. Above all, have much laughter & fun together.

I know our athletes will all make the most of this experience, and I know you will all be out there smiling regardless of what the day brings.

The training is the hard part in any journey to an Ironman or 70.3 finish line....race day is honestly a celebration of all this hard work!

So be amazing, be courageous and have the most memorable time....bring it on....These are the times we will remember.

Find your Fire,

Alli
