Happy FriYAY Team!

Calling up all Multisport Gold athletes.....so, yes, that means YOU :-)

To kick start the Tri season each year, the Qld Triathlon Club Champs Event is held at Moreton Bay with distances suitable for everyone to participate! This is a fast and flat course so its always a great event to get a quality race banked early in the season.

The beauty of this event, is there is so many Qld Clubs racing against others within their category to take Club Champs honors for the upcoming 12 months! There is so much team spirit, enthusiasm and pride in racing this event.

We havent had a team together for this race for a few years, so come Team, lets get our entries in & head back up to Moreton Bay to compete as a united Club in this event.

In previous years, we really have made a day of it and headed out for lunch & refreshments afterwards.

Do you want to be on that start line being proud to represent your Club and importantly, have some fun out there together? Then if you answer is YES, enter any distance, come along and who knows what will happen within our Small Clubs category :-) Gotta be in it to win it right!

Find your Fire,

Alli

The Racing Buzz

Where did that triathlon off season go? Blinked and wow....we are back into race season again! hard to believe we are fending off magpies and storing away the thermals for another year LOL!

Last weekend at Sunny Coast all of our incredible athletes had absolutely outstanding races, PBs, personal achievements, an awesome day out by James,  Jo, Rikki, Trinny, Matty B,  Dorz, Martin & Linda and Kel. Sadly Andre on the sidelines after a nasty fall at parkrun the weekend before.

Congratulations to Dorz & Matty B for securing Opportunity Slots for World 70.3 Champs in Spain in 2025.

This weekend we have Round 1 of the QTS Series at Raby Bay. We are proudly represented by Team Ward with Kaelan and Sharon in the short distance. Then Sharyn, Jase & Alli hit the Classic distance event, a great race for our crew to blow out some cobwebs and kick start the season with some high octane racing!

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Vol 3 # 8

SATURDAY 28th September 2024 - Chasing the Letter J

Our On Tour for the month of September will see us chasing the Letter J in our Alphabet, so over the mountain we go to Jeune, out Beaudesert way! This course is entirely on trails (or grass paddocks!) and is 2 laps! Hopefully there wont be any rain in the days leading up to this date, otherwise we will be having fun through mud & puddles LOL!!!

Lets make this another adventure out for our crew, somewhere different and fun, and of course, we will search out the best local cafe for breakkie and coffee afterwards

2024-2025 Squad Champions Series

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

With the new 2024-2025 Triathlon season kicking off on 1st July 2024, NOW is the time to start logging in your race results. Every parkrun, every race is worth valuable points, so be in it to win and lets see how is going to be our new Club Male & Female Champions!

We have modified the points system, so make sure you know the rules and you MUST be wearing your Multisport Gold kit! We are making the Club Championship to fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website, simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way!
