Happy FriYAY Team!

This is the time of the year I start to get so excited about! Its a time when the Squad Christmas Party & Awards afternoon is upon us and its time to celebrate all of our incredible individual and squad achievements throughout the year. And what a year it has been!

Not only do I love having athletes and families come together in a social setting, but I love presenting and acknowledging our standout athletes. 

These winners aren't on the podium at every race, they aren't world campion athletes, they aren't filled with ego and talk. They are humble, every day athletes out there doing their very best. Finding events to ignite their passion and their internal fires, and going after it. Those that have set their personal bars high and accomplished what they set out to do. 

As I coach, I am so incredibly proud of every single one of our athletes on every start line this year. You have represented Multisport Gold with such pride and enthusiasm, it continues to makes me so incredibly excited for Sunday.....its time to celebrate US

As well all know, our very own running super star, Trinny, has been out racing Pan Pacs over the last 3 days, and seeing her continue to put in stella performances is an absolute credit to her. We are cheering you all the way Trinny, enjoy the last race on Saturday!

Congrats to all our awesome MSGold athletes who ventured up to Noosa last weekend. This is always a massive event on the calendar, from watching the crit race, the 5km bolt, through to the Elites and age groupers, Noosa weekend has it all. Kudos to our team. 

Over recent weeks, a Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Weekend has been organized, Thanks Kath for the millions of messages on dates and yes, we have locked in a date with some of the crew having accom booked. So if your keen for keen for another epic weekend away of running & riding, then get in on this one! DATES Friday 30th May - Sunday 1st June Accom at Esk Caravan park. The Recc Run the World Squad Run is back for 2025, and entries are NOW Open. There has been such great enthusiasm for this event again this year, and we have 5 full teams ready to have a blast out there! Check out the FB page for further details.

NEW DATE TBA for those Chasing the Letter J

Our On Tour for the month of September will see us chasing the Letter J in our Alphabet, so over the mountain we go to Jeune, out Beaudesert way! This course is entirely on trails (or grass paddocks!) and is 2 laps! Hopefully there wont be any rain in the days leading up to this date, otherwise we will be having fun through mud & puddles LOL!!! 

Lets make this another adventure out for our crew, somewhere different and fun, and of course, we will search out the best local cafe for breakkie and coffee afterwards

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

With the new 2024-2025 Triathlon season kicking off on 1st July 2024, NOW is the time to start logging in your race results. Every parkrun, every race is worth valuable points, so be in it to win and lets see how is going to be our new Club Male & Female Champions!

We have modified the points system, so make sure you know the rules and you MUST be wearing your Multisport Gold kit! We are making the Club Championship to fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website, simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way! 

On Monday 9th December, Coach Alli & the Cookie Clan fly out to NZ. After racing on Saturday 14th December, the family is having some much needed down time and will be returning to Australia on Monday 23rd December.  Changes to training during the time will be posted HERE next week. 

CHANGES TO THIS WEEKEND TRAINING DUE TO THE CHRISTMAS PARTY ON SUNDAY

Rolling out from Ox Lake at 5.30am on SATURDAY, both of our Sunday Cruisers & the Croissant Crew will be looking for kms and coffee at various paces. There will be something for all those looking for a ride. 

Coach Alli unfortunately has commitments and therefore sadly will not be riding.   

WEEKLY Training 

Swim Squad is on Tuesday & Thursday at Coomera Anglican Aquatic Centre. Please arrive by 5.20am to go through the session and be in the water by 5.30am

Tuesday Track is at Griffith Uni. We will be starting warm ups at 5.30pm with a 6.00pm for the main set. 

FriYAY Koffee Kms is rolling out from Cafe 2 at 5.15am, swinging by MnL Roundabout at 5.20am, then toot tooting past Ox Lake at 5.30am, so be ready to jump on....the train will not wait!! Coffee is at Driftwood Cafe at Paradise Point.

Casual fees are to be paid in advance OR at the training session. A casual visit is $10 with pool entry additional paid upon Entry to Rackley's.
