There is so many things to enjoy about Christmas time isn't there! Time off work, time with family, sleep-ins or arvo naps, air con & TV, late nights, and just enjoying this festive time of the year.

Its also a great time for each of us to reflect back on the Year That Was. What we are proud of accomplishing, what we could do better. What do we expect of ourselves in 2025? What goals have we set? Do we have a healthy balance in life?

In 2025, don't let the words I CANT stop YOU. Because, you actually CAN. It is all mind over matter! To give new things a go, to experiment and go outside the comfort zones is the way we continue to grow as athletes. 

I like to have a motivational quote for each year, something we can all use in whatever we are doing in sport, and in life!

The new phrase for this year is You are Stronger than YOU think.  We are braver than we believe we are. We are stronger than we think and we are far smarter than we give ourselves credit for.  To become the best version of YOU, mentally, physically, emotionally.

We are all stronger than we think. There is no limits to what we can achieve. Both individually and as a Team.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our athletes & families a very Merry & Safe Christmas and an exciting 2025. As a very small business owner, I am so grateful for ALL your ongoing loyalty and commitment to our Team and I look forward to smashing all our goals together in 2025.

Yippee, a quick weekend on the racing calendar this weekend! Enjoy some training and switches those minds off racing! 

KUDOS to our athletes who braved the weather last weekend and raced in some very testing conditions! Amazing efforts. 

Over recent weeks, a Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Weekend has been organized, Thanks Kath for the millions of messages on dates and yes, we have locked in a date with some of the crew having accom booked. So if your keen for keen for another epic weekend away of running & riding, then get in on this one! DATES Friday 30th May - Sunday 1st June Accom at Esk Caravan park. The 2024 Resolution Run is NOW open for entries. Jump onto the FB page for more info on this awesome annual event which is now worth Double Points in our Clubs Champs Series for the 13km run.

Have a think about adding some of these events to your calendar  :  QTS Series, Gold Coast Marathon and Sunny Coast Marathon. AND don't forget, there is still plenty of qualifying races for Worlds in Wollongong coming up in 2025!!!

NEW DATE TBA for those Chasing the Letter J

Our On Tour for the month of September will see us chasing the Letter J in our Alphabet, so over the mountain we go to Jeune, out Beaudesert way! This course is entirely on trails (or grass paddocks!) and is 2 laps! Hopefully there wont be any rain in the days leading up to this date, otherwise we will be having fun through mud & puddles LOL!!! 

Lets make this another adventure out for our crew, somewhere different and fun, and of course, we will search out the best local cafe for breakkie and coffee afterwards

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

With the new 2024-2025 Triathlon season kicking off on 1st July 2024, NOW is the time to start logging in your race results. Every parkrun, every race is worth valuable points, so be in it to win and lets see how is going to be our new Club Male & Female Champions!

We have modified the points system, so make sure you know the rules and you MUST be wearing your Multisport Gold kit! We are making the Club Championship to fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website, simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way! 

COACH ALLI & CAPTAIN COOKE fly out to NZ on Sunday 8th December. Returning Monday 23rd December. During this time, ALL program athletes will have their sessions on TP ready to go. For those NOT on TP, Coach Alli will list the Christmas - NY Session on FaceBook upon her return. 

ALL Squad sessions will go ahead as normal. Tash will be at the pool to write up the boards for us from Tuesday 10th-Thursday 19th December which will be your last session for 2024.

CAAC is CLOSED from Saturday 21st December and re-opens Thursday 2nd January. Our 1st squad for 2025 will be Tuesday 7th January. 

The last Track session will be Tuesday 17th December, returning Tuesday 7th January.

ALL Sunday rides during the time Coach Alli & Captain Cooke are away are all departing from Ox Lake as per usual at 5.30am and will be Unsanctioned. 

The Christmas Ride is planned for Sunday 22nd December. The more the merrier for this ride. Plan is to head back to Pickers & Co for coffee & scones (might want to check it is open!) , and why not add some Christmas decorations to your bike LOL!!

WEEKLY Training 

Swim Squad is on Tuesday & Thursday at Coomera Anglican Aquatic Centre. Please arrive by 5.20am to go through the session and be in the water by 5.30am

Tuesday Track is at Griffith Uni. We will be starting warm ups at 5.30pm with a 6.00pm for the main set. 

FriYAY Koffee Kms is rolling out from Cafe 2 at 5.15am, swinging by MnL Roundabout at 5.20am, then toot tooting past Ox Lake at 5.30am, so be ready to jump on....the train will not wait!! Coffee is at Driftwood Cafe at Paradise Point.

Casual fees are to be paid in advance OR at the training session. A casual visit is $10 with pool entry additional paid upon Entry to Rackley's.
