Happy FriYAY Team!
The Olympic Games have been such a highlight in our lives over the last 3 weeks, bringing some much needed motivation & positive energy into our days when there is so much uncertainty going on right now. l am sure we all have our favorite moments from these 16 days of sport. The highs, the lows, the pride and excitement to the heartbreak and disappointment, the incredible mateship & spirit certainly made these Games exciting to watch. Not long until we are able to witness the Paralympics and a whole new level of skill & athleticism. Looking forward to being glued to the TV again for these Games!
Over & out for today,

With the Lockdown being lifted last Sunday at 4.00pm, we all had a sigh of relief that we have our freedom back again! However, there has been restrictions which have been released by the Queensland Govt on the return to Sport for many organizations and Groups within the 11 LGAs affected. There has been many emails, correspondence & messages trying to clarify exactly what a 'Community Sport' is , and the restrictions imposed. After seeking further advise from fellow coaches, it has been decided that Multisport Gold will NOT be conducting any Squad or Coach based sessions until the 2 week period ceases. However, we are able to conduct 'exercise' and casual sessions during this time where a small group of 10 or less athletes can meet. There will be posts on our Facebook Page advising these casual group meet-ups. It is imperative our athletes set an outstanding presence within the community and follow the rules of social distancing at all times, as well as wearing masks where applicable.
We can read the rules & regulations however we want and dance around the main regulations, however these rules have been put in place for the health & wellbeing of the community, so we need to please respect this until such time that we can resume normal training. |
