Happy FriYAY Team!

I've just returned from an incredible coaching trip to France 🍵🥖🥐🏔️ and I couldn’t be more proud of what our Australian Team achieved. The team performed exceptionally, showing resilience, discipline, and a strong sense of unity throughout the French GP Tour. Each challenge was met with determination, and the results reflected the hard work the entire team put in over the past months. It was inspiring to see our young aspiring athletes grow not just in skill, but in confidence and leadership as well—this trip was a true testament to their commitment and passion.

While it was a rewarding experience, there’s nothing quite like being back home to be with my Multisport Gold family. I’ve missed everyone, the smiles & laughter,  the energy, camaraderie, and yes, even the daily grind—the heartbeat of everything we do. I’m incredibly grateful for the support from everyone here while I was away, and I’m excited to bring back new insights, strategies, and motivation to help us continue building something special together. Let’s keep pushing forward—stronger and more united than ever.

An enormous shout out to our Team of runners & supporters from GCM last weekend! We had runners proudly wearing our colours across all events, and it was such a highlight to have so many family & friends under our Tent! Thankyou to our families who have supported so many of us in our prep for these events, yes it is hard to be away from families whilst training, so please know how much our entire MSGold Family is loved and appreciated. Congratulations Team, another hugely successful team event

With the run season well under way, and the start of the 2025-2026 Triathlon season, NOW is the time to get out your racing calendars and make some plans. Don't be afraid to venture outside your comfort zones, be brave & courageous and go seeking the best version of YOU. 

The Club Champs Point Series is now OPEN for all those athletes who have raced / parkrun last weekend. 

Yes, it is getting dark earlier, and there is a chill in the air which means winter is here! Please remember the importance of safety in the darker morning out riding AND running. On all our group rides you will be required to have working FRONT and REAR lights. 

parkrun on Tour Chasing the Alphabet Letter J

Saturday 2nd August

Our On Tour for the month of August will see us chasing the Letter J in our parkrun alphabet, so over the mountain we go to Jeune, yes, out near Beaudesert! 

This course is entirely on trails (or grassy paddocks!) and is 2 laps. Hopefully there wont be any rain in the week leading up to this On Tour event, otherwise you may need to pack in your gumboots LOL!

Lets make this another awesome event for our parkrun Crew. Of course, we will go in search of breakfast & coffee, and probably some heaters afterwards!

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

With the new 2025-2026 Triathlon season kicking off on 1st July 2025, NOW is the time to start logging in your race results. Every parkrun, every race is worth valuable points, so be in it to win and lets see how is going to be our new Club Male & Female Champions!

We have modified the points system, so make sure you know the rules and you MUST be wearing your Multisport Gold kit! We are making the Club Championship to fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website, simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way! 

Sunday Rides will be rolling out from Ox Lake at our winter start time of 6.00am. There will be a few different groups this week as we start to target various events or some still enjoying the luxury of coffee kms! 

Swim Squad is on Tuesday & Thursday at Coomera Anglican Aquatic Centre. Please arrive by 5.20am to go through the session and be in the water by 5.30am. 

Tuesday Track is at Griffith Uni. We will be starting warm ups at 5.30pm with a 6.00pm for the main set, remember we may meet on the opposite side of the track if the front straight is busy! 

FriYAY Koffee Kms is rolling out from Cafe 2 at 5.15am, swinging by MnL Roundabout at 5.20am, then toot tooting past Ox Lake at 5.30am, so be ready to jump on....the train will not wait!! Coffee is at Driftwood Cafe at Paradise Point.

Casual fees are to be paid in advance OR at the training session. A casual visit is $10 with pool entry additional paid upon Entry to Rackley's.
