I would like to take this opportunity to extend my deepest gratitude to each of you for the incredible love, compassion, and support you've shown to Our Jase during this unimaginably difficult time for him. Losing both parents so suddenly is a grief beyond words, but your presence—through meals delivered, messages sent, shoulders offered, group gatherings, and quiet moments shared—has been a powerful reminder that no one walks through sorrow alone. We have all surrounded Jase with strength and care in ways that words can never fully express.

In times like these, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and lost, but this incredible Multisport Gold Family has stepped up with grace, kindness, and generosity. Thank you for holding space, for being gentle, and for showing up without hesitation. Your actions have created a sense of warmth and safety when I am sure his world has felt cold and uncertain. It means more than I can say to see once again, our Family coming together as one.

A few events on this weekend!

Kicking off on Saturday with the Wellcamp Airport Duathlon which is the State Champs for Sprint Distance. Its always fast & furious racing out there, and we know our Qld Champions of Marion & Phillip Hermitage will be doing their best to secure the titles for another year. Safe and fast racing Marion & Phillip.

Its that time of the year, when its cold & dark, and the trails are calling.....its KOKODA Challenge time !!! This year MSGold is so proudly represented by Trinny & Mary in the 30k event. The girls head out from Nerang Velodrome at 2.00pm and hope to be back at the Velodrome ~8:00pm. Young Maddi Cooke is also competing in the School Teams 50km and is hoping to finish around the same time (they start a few hours earlier!!!) so rug up and come out & cheer our girls home! 

SAVE THE DATE!!!! 2nd August at Coomera parkrun 😉 One of our OGs is celebrating her 500th parkrun....YES....500th parkrun...so don't miss out on this epic celebration!

With the run season well under way, and the start of the 2025-2026 Triathlon season, NOW is the time to get out your racing calendars and make some plans. Don't be afraid to venture outside your comfort zones, be brave & courageous and go seeking the best version of YOU. 

The Club Champs Point Series is now OPEN for all those athletes who have raced / parkrun last weekend. 

Yes, it is getting dark earlier, and there is a chill in the air which means winter is here! Please remember the importance of safety in the darker morning out riding AND running. On all our group rides you will be required to have working FRONT and REAR lights. 

parkrun on Tour Chasing the Alphabet Letter J

Saturday 23rd August ## NEW DATE

(This is a change of date from 2nd to the 23rd August) 

Our On Tour for the month of August will see us chasing the Letter J in our parkrun alphabet, so over the mountain we go to Jeune, yes, out near Beaudesert! 

This course is entirely on trails (or grassy paddocks!) and is 2 laps. Hopefully there wont be any rain in the week leading up to this On Tour event, otherwise you may need to pack in your gumboots LOL!

Lets make this another awesome event for our parkrun Crew. Of course, we will go in search of breakfast & coffee, and probably some heaters afterwards!

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

With the new 2025-2026 Triathlon season kicking off on 1st July 2025, NOW is the time to start logging in your race results. Every parkrun, every race is worth valuable points, so be in it to win and lets see how is going to be our new Club Male & Female Champions!

We have modified the points system, so make sure you know the rules and you MUST be wearing your Multisport Gold kit! We are making the Club Championship to fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website, simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way! 

Sunday Rides will be rolling out from Ox Lake at our winter start time of 6.00am. There will be a few different groups this week as we start to target various events or some still enjoying the luxury of coffee kms! 

Swim Squad is on Tuesday & Thursday at Coomera Anglican Aquatic Centre. Please arrive by 5.20am to go through the session and be in the water by 5.30am. 

Tuesday Track is at Griffith Uni. We will be starting warm ups at 5.30pm with a 6.00pm for the main set, remember we may meet on the opposite side of the track if the front straight is busy! 

FriYAY Koffee Kms is rolling out from Cafe 2 at 5.15am, swinging by MnL Roundabout at 5.20am, then toot tooting past Ox Lake at 5.30am, so be ready to jump on....the train will not wait!! Coffee is at Driftwood Cafe at Paradise Point.

Casual fees are to be paid in advance OR at the training session. A casual visit is $10 with pool entry additional paid upon Entry to Rackley's.
