Many of our triathletes are starting to knuckle down for serious training as many are now approaching their A races, It is essential to trust the training that's brought you this far. Every early morning session, brick workout, and long weekend ride has been building a foundation not just of physical strength, but of discipline and resilience. Doubt may creep in as race day nears—questioning if you've done enough or if you're truly ready—but this is where trusting the process becomes vital. Your training plan was designed with intention, and by following it consistently, you've built the endurance, skill, and mental toughness needed to perform. Trust that the hard work will pay off, and resist the urge to cram or overreach in the final weeks; the real gains have already been made.

Equally important is trusting yourself. You’ve weathered setbacks, adjusted to life’s curveballs, and shown up even when it wasn’t easy. Race day is not just a test of fitness—it’s a celebration of your commitment. Confidence doesn’t come from perfection; it comes from knowing you’ve done the work and believing in your ability to execute when it matters. Visualize success, stay present in each segment of training, and back yourself fully. When the nerves hit or the effort gets tough, remember: you will be  prepared, you will be ready and you are capable of amazing outcomes.

A HIGE Shout Out to all our amazing runners up at the Sunny Coast last weekend! We were so proudly represented in the 10km, 21.1km and the marathon, and the results across the board were outstanding. I do believe the date has been set as 2nd August 2026, so get that accom booked early LOL!!!  

This weekend we have Jo H heading to Sydney for the famous City to Surf! Such an awesome event and atmosphere to be part of! Have the most amazing time at this iconic event Jo!

Jezz is on the start line of the 42.2km event at Scenic Rim. Jezz has won this event for the last 2 years and sets out for the Hat-Trick in 2025. Go Hard Jezz. And his wonderful wife Trinny, while waiting for Jezz to finish is going to smash out the 10km! 

TBC Dates for Transitions at Lake Hugh Muntz. With World Champs and race season not far away, we are going to look at having some transition practice at Lake Hugh Muntz prior to these events to fresh athletes up. We have had numerous sessions at this location and it is perfect for our prep.  Pencil in Sunday 31st August // Saturday 20th September // Saturday 4th October

Yes, it is getting dark earlier, and there is a chill in the air which means winter is here! Please remember the importance of safety in the darker morning out riding AND running. On all our group rides you will be required to have working FRONT and REAR lights. 

parkrun on Tour Chasing the Alphabet Letter J

Saturday 23rd August ## NEW DATE

(This is a change of date from 2nd to the 23rd August) 

Our On Tour for the month of August will see us chasing the Letter J in our parkrun alphabet, so over the mountain we go to Jeune, yes, out near Beaudesert! 

This course is entirely on trails (or grassy paddocks!) and is 2 laps. Hopefully there wont be any rain in the week leading up to this On Tour event, otherwise you may need to pack in your gumboots LOL!

Lets make this another awesome event for our parkrun Crew. Of course, we will go in search of breakfast & coffee, and probably some heaters afterwards!

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

With the new 2025-2026 Triathlon season kicking off on 1st July 2025, NOW is the time to start logging in your race results. Every parkrun, every race is worth valuable points, so be in it to win and lets see how is going to be our new Club Male & Female Champions!

We have modified the points system, so make sure you know the rules and you MUST be wearing your Multisport Gold kit! We are making the Club Championship to fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website, simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way! 

Sunday Rides will be rolling out from Ox Lake at our winter start time of 6.00am. There will be a few different groups this week as we start to target various events or some still enjoying the luxury of coffee kms! 

Swim Squad is on Tuesday & Thursday at Coomera Anglican Aquatic Centre. Please arrive by 5.20am to go through the session and be in the water by 5.30am. 

Tuesday Track is at Griffith Uni. We will be starting warm ups at 5.30pm with a 6.00pm for the main set, remember we may meet on the opposite side of the track if the front straight is busy! 

FriYAY Koffee Kms is rolling out from Cafe 2 at 5.15am, swinging by MnL Roundabout at 5.20am, then toot tooting past Ox Lake at 5.30am, so be ready to jump on....the train will not wait!! Coffee is at Driftwood Cafe at Paradise Point.

Casual fees are to be paid in advance OR at the training session. A casual visit is $10 with pool entry additional paid upon Entry to Rackley's.
