Happy FriYAY Team!

I am SO excited, one of the biggest weeks of the triathlon year is almost here! This Sunday, all eyes turn to the Big Island of Hawaii for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, where the world’s best women will take on one of the most iconic and grueling endurance tests on the planet. The legendary Kona course delivers everything triathlon is known for — blistering heat, swirling winds, the unforgiving lava fields, the bitumen which burns through your shoes, the Energy Lab which zaps your energy, and a field stacked with the strongest, toughest, and most determined female athletes in the sport. Expect fierce battles and a world-class professional showdown that will no doubt produce some incredible performances and unforgettable stories of grit and determination. My prediction for top 3 (not necessarily in this order!) Lucy, Laura & Kat 🎉

Then, just as the dust settles in Kona, the action comes home to Australia with the World Triathlon Championships Finals next week. The world’s fastest short-course athletes will be hitting the start line, and we’re especially proud to have several of our very own Multisport Gold squad members racing among them. It’s a huge achievement to qualify for this level of competition, and we can’t wait to see our athletes give it everything on the world stage.

It’s truly an exciting time to be part of the triathlon community — from the lava fields of Kona to the blue carpet of the WTC Finals, the next week is a celebration of everything we love about this sport: resilience, passion, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

YOU are stronger than YOU think,

Alli
