Happy FriYAY Team!

Welcome to 2026! And welcome to the 1st Tuff Stuff of the year! As you all know, I love to have a motivational quote each year. This year......we are going to Live Boldly.

To Live Boldly is to meet challenge with curiosity, rather than fear. It’s choosing the harder line when the easier one would do, backing your strengths, and daring to see what might be possible if you really committed. It doesn’t require perfection, bravado, or an iron will — just a willingness to put yourself in motion and trust that you can figure it out along the way. Bold doesn’t mean reckless; it means courageous, authentic, and intentional.

In sport, boldness shows up when we keep chasing growth rather than comfort: entering the race that scares us a little, learning a new skill, or returning after injury or setback with a new appreciation for the long game. It’s staying present when sessions get hard, asking more of ourselves when it counts, and owning the effort regardless of the outcome. Sport rewards those small, everyday moments of bravery long before the medals and finish lines ever appear.

For Multisport Gold, Live Boldly reminds us that we are strongest when we support each other to stretch, to try, to progress, and to show up as our full selves. As a squad we celebrate ambition and effort, we cheer loud on race day, and we encourage each athlete to chase their own version of “bold.” Whether that’s learning to swim confidently, hitting a PB at parkrun, or simply staying consistent through the grind, boldness looks different for everybody — and that’s what makes it powerful.

Live Boldly,

Alli
