Happy FriYAY Team!

I must admit, I am one of those Tri-Junkies that follows the racing scene for all distances around the Globe. As we know, so many iconic races have been cancelled over the last 2 years, and it is only now, the reemergence of Professional racing is back! Last weekend we saw Challenge Roth, Ironman Switzerland & the Super League! Whilst there is so much Covid has and is affecting, post Olympics it is so uplifting to see our Sport taking off again. 

And, take off it most certainly will be going off this weekend on the Sunshine Coast! There was a few anxious days at the beginning of the week, however at this stage, we are all systems GO! So many of the crew have had such a roller coaster leading into this race, so an enormous High 5 to all our athletes! It is also their families which deserve congratulations as well in their part they play in this journey! 

To all our Individuals & Teams racing on Sunday....NOW is your time to Shine! You have all been waiting & training for this event for so long, so leave it all out there on Sunday & know your entire Multisport Gold family is supporting & cheering you on the whole way! We are all so proud of each & every one of you .#findit #ownit

The Countdown has started for the highly anticipated  Club Championships 2021 at Moreton Bay. This is also the 1st race of the QTS for the season. Last year Multisport Gold placed 2nd in the Small Clubs category and it was such a buzz hearing our name called out at the awards ceremony. 

Why not lock in Sunday 26th September and join your team mates on the start line? Entries are selling out quickly so don't miss out, remember every point counts towards our overall total!  Distances range from sprint to Olympic, Enticer & kids distances also  available so there is no excuses not to be there!

How proud would we all be standing on Top of that podium knowing have achieved something so special together. 

The Month of October we CELEBRATE 10 Years of Multisport Gold! Mark in your diaries Sunday 3rd October 11.30am at the Gold Coast Motor Museum. Further details are on our Facebook page.
A very casual & relaxed lunch, lets spend the afternoon on the Terrace of this picturesque setting, and the fascinating Motor Museum.
This is not an awards afternoon, it is purely an opportunity for the Multisport Gold family to Celebrate together in a beautiful social setting. 

Here at Multisport Gold, we all love our Saturday morning parkruns! Whilst a few of us have our 'favourite' courses, there is so many options here on the Gold Coast for us to enjoy. So, on the 1st Saturday of each month, we will takeover a different parkrun course. They say Variety is the Spice of Life right !!!

So, join the Crew at Main Beach parkrun this Saturday! Its time to proudly put on your Multisport Gold colours and enjoy a spectacular course over mixed terrain.

There will be an open water swim after parkrun, location will either be Main Beach or Evandale depending on the surf conditions. 

• Swim Squad at CAAC on Tuesday & Thursday. Please arrive by 5.20am as we will be starting at 5.30am sharp.
• Track Tuesdays at CAC PRIMARY OVAL. Please arrive by 5.20pm to start the warm up at 5.30pm sharp.
• Hills Thursday at Adidas Park on the 9th September will NOT BE ON due to SC70.3. 
• KOFFEE KMs Friday. Departing Highland  Reserve Roundabout at 5.15am and the M&L  Roundabout 5.20am. Destination is Paradise Point. 
• Saturday AM swimming is ON this week after Main Beach parkrun. Location will be posted on our Facebook page of either Main Beach or Evandale, depending on Surf Conditions. 
• Sunday Ride Is ON this week for a Father's Day Coffee Ride. We will split into 2-3 Groups depending on abilities, starting with some rolling hills & finishing with flats up to Paradise Point for Coffee & Cake at Burleigh Baker.  We are rolling out from Ox Lake at 5.30am.
