Happy FriYAY Team!

Last week I put the call out to our club members asking for volunteers for the upcoming T100 on the Gold Coast, and the response was nothing short of incredible. Within a very short time, volunteer positions and the roster almost filled! It’s moments like this that remind me just how special our club community is.

This is the first time the T100 will be held on the Gold Coast, and it really is our time to shine. As a club, we have a fantastic opportunity to showcase the spirit of our community and support not only the event, but the athletes taking on the challenge.

Our members are always willing to step up and give back to the sport and the wider triathlon community, and I couldn’t be prouder of that spirit. While we’re still waiting on a few final details, it’s already clear that our crew will bring plenty of energy and support to the day. Thank you to everyone who put their hand up — it’s a fantastic reflection of what our club is all about.

Live Boldly,

Alli

The Racing Buzz

They don't call it Hell of the West for nothing. This race is hot. It is windy. It is flat. It is fast. It has incredible community support and this weekend, look out, we have our Long Course Greats of Marion & Phillip H on the start line. Then 2 awesome teams rev'd up and ready to go! Pete, Bangers & Kath are on fire and looking to take the lead right from the start. Then we have Renee, Mashy and Renee (LOL, yes Renee is doing the swim & ride!!) frothing to get amongst it again this year. Of course, one of the highlights is the kids races, so we are looking forward to watching Team Anderson rock it.  Coach Alli steps up as the Assistant Technical Delegate and Assistant Race Referee, a big weekend coming up of Officiating! Captain Cooke also joins the Technical Team as well.

2026 Mooloolaba Training Camp. Friday 1st to Monday 4th May. Accom at Beachcomber on the Spit, 4 days of swimming, riding & running, loads of action and new places to see. ALL details including price is on our Facebook Page under Events. Spots will get taken quickly so don't miss out! This camp is the perfect time to add in final block of training for the season, and to kick start the start of the 2nd half of the year.

For any athletes looking for a ride group of a Saturday, please touch base with Dave J. His Ride de Cure Crew roll out to a different route each Saturday and always is a quality (and safe) ride.

2025-2026 Club Champions Series

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

With the new 2025-2026 Triathlon season kicking off on 1st July 2025, NOW is the time to start logging in your race results. Every parkrun, every race is worth valuable points, so be in it to win and lets see how is going to be our new Club Male & Female Champions!

We have modified the points system, so make sure you know the rules and you MUST be wearing your Multisport Gold kit! We are making the Club Championship to fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website, simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way!
