Happy FriYAY Team!

Last Sunday at the Gold Coast Triathlon – Luke Harrop Memorial was everything this sport does best rolled into one big, buzzing weekend. From elite athletes chasing ranking points, to age groupers bringing out their sprint distance speed, to runners, officials, volunteers, families and mates cheering from every corner — it was a full-circle reminder of why this event sits so firmly on the Queensland & National triathlon calendar. It’s not just a race; it’s a gathering of a community that shows up, supports, and celebrates together.

Under the Multisport Gold tent on Sunday, the energy was hard to miss. There was a real sense of connection — athletes swapping stories, sharing splits, comparing battle scars from the course, and genuinely enjoying each other’s company. It was positive, it was loud in all the right ways, and it had that unmistakable post-race glow where everyone is just a little bit proud of what they’ve just completed.

What stood out most was how the day finished. Staying right through to the final presentations, cheering on every teammate right until the last medal was handed out, said everything about the culture we’re building. Winning is great — and we absolutely should celebrate it — but showing up for each other, supporting fellow competitors and backing your teammates to the end is what sportsmanship is really about.

We might be a small team, but we’re mighty where it counts. Proud in how we race, proud in how we support, and proud in how we carry ourselves long after the finish line, and representing Multisport Gold with pride.

Live Boldly,

Alli
