Happy FriYAY Team!

There is something incredibly comforting about home. The familiar faces, the laughs before a session starts, the coffee afterwards, the encouragement when training gets tough, the venues we know, and simply knowing you'll see the same wonderful people each week. We often don't realise just how special those little moments are until they're temporarily taken away.

Travel is one of life's greatest adventures (and yes... I know I keep saying that!), but for me, one of the greatest parts of my trip was coming home. Coming home to smiling faces, hugs, laughter, stories to share, and the friendships that make this squad so much more than a group of people who swim, ride and run together. It reminds me that while it's exciting to explore the world, there really is something special about the place—and the people—I call home.

I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stepped up while I was away. Captain Cooke, Coach Erin, (and Neill)  you all did an amazing job keeping everything running so smoothly. It speaks volumes about the culture we've built together, where people are always willing to help, encourage one another, and make sure no one misses out on sessions.

It is so good to be home. Thank you ALL for making this Family such a welcoming, supportive and genuinely special group of people. I can't wait to share plenty of stories, hear about everything I've missed, and get back into training with all of you. There's honestly, no place I'd rather be. Well perhaps at the boulangerie with a raspberry tartlet & a baguette 🍅🥖☕ LOL!!!

Live Boldly,

Coach Alli

Upcoming Training Schedule
Weekly Swim Training on the Gold Coast

Sunday rides will be rolling out from Ox Lake at the new winter time of 6.00am.  This time of the year, we are looking for longer aerobic rides, so sunshine & coffees are very much acceptable LOL!  It is COMPULSORY in our winter groups rides to have working front & rear lights. No lights = No ride. ##Coach Alli is on the Sunny Coast for the weekend so will not be riding!

Swim Squad is on Tuesday & Thursday at Coomera Anglican Aquatic Centre. Please arrive by 5.20am to go through the session and be in the water by 5.30am.

Tuesday Track is at Griffith Uni!!!! Please note that we usually locate ourselves on the opposite to the Grandstand as it is less crowded!    We will still be starting at 5.30pm

FriYAY Koffee Kms is rolling out from Cafe 2 at 5.15am, swinging by MnL Roundabout at 5.20am, then toot tooting past Ox Lake at 5.30am, so be ready to jump on....the train will not wait!! Coffee is back at Driftwood by popular demand!

UNSAFE riding on aerobars on TT bikes within a bunch will NOT be tolerated. Repeat offenders WILL be excluded from group rides as the safety of riders will NOT be jeopardized.
