Happy FriYAY Team!

More Than Just a Finish Line

This weekend is a pretty special reminder that our squad is about so much more than simply crossing a finish line. We have athletes and crew spread across different races, different cities and, in Sheree's case, on the other side of the world — but we are all connected by the same thing: the Multisport Gold family.

At the UTMB Mont-Blanc World Series Final, Sheree will take on an incredible challenge, on one of the biggest stages in trail running. Back in Australia & heading down south to Sydney, Trinny and Danny will line up for the Sydney Marathon, ready to put all those months of training, patience and persistence into practice. And here at home, we have a great crew taking on the Dreamworld Fun Run on Sunday — each with their own goals, costumes, stories and reasons for putting themselves on that start line.

But it's not only about the people racing. On Saturday, a solid crew from our squad will be out supporting Steve Jackson at Coastal High, giving their time and energy to help other athletes have their day. That's something I love about our community — we don't just turn up for our own races; we turn up for each other. We cheer, volunteer, encourage, track, message, celebrate and sometimes even lose our voices doing it!

When you look at the weekend as a whole, it really highlights what makes sport so special. There are finish lines, of course, but there are also starting lines, training partners, early mornings, friendships, volunteers, supporters, high-fives, nervous moments and plenty of stories being created along the way.

So wherever you are this weekend — racing, volunteering, cheering from the sidelines or following along from afar — know that you are part of something much bigger than your own result. The finish line is only one small part of the journey. The people you share it with are what make it memorable.

Go well this weekend, Crew. Be proud of the work you've put in, embrace the experience and, most importantly, look around and enjoy being part of this wonderful, slightly crazy Multisport Gold family.

More than just a finish line. More than just a race. We are in this together. 💛

Live Boldly,

Coach Alli

Of course, there will be breakfast & laughs afterwards!

2025-2026 Club Champions Series

MultiSport GOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

With the new 2026-2027 Triathlon season started, and the Ladder clear, NOW is the time to start logging your points!  Every parkrun, every race is worth valuable points, so be in it to win and lets see who is going to be our new Club Male & Female Champions!

We have added in & clarified the Rules, so please ensure you have a read of these. The Club Championships fully acknowledges the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the website, simply fill in the tabs and you're on your way!

Upcoming Training Schedule
Weekly Swim Training on the Gold Coast

Sunday rides will be rolling out from Ox Lake at the new winter time of 6.00am.  This time of the year, we are looking for longer aerobic rides, so sunshine & coffees are very much acceptable LOL!  It is COMPULSORY in our winter groups rides to have working front & rear lights. No lights = No ride.

Please remember we are riding on Public Roads, therefore we MUST obey the road rules at ALL times and always use group riding etiquette.

Swim Squad is on Tuesday & Thursday at Coomera Anglican Aquatic Centre. Please arrive by 5.20am to go through the session and be in the water by 5.30am.

Tuesday Track is at Griffith Uni!!!! Please note that we usually locate ourselves on the opposite to the Grandstand as it is less crowded!    We will still be starting at 5.30pm

FriYAY Koffee Kms is rolling out from Cafe 2 at 5.15am, swinging by MnL Roundabout at 5.20am, then toot tooting past Ox Lake at 5.30am, so be ready to jump on....the train will not wait!! Coffee is back at Driftwood by popular demand!

UNSAFE riding on aerobars on TT bikes within a bunch will NOT be tolerated. Repeat offenders WILL be excluded from group rides as the safety of riders will NOT be jeopardized.
