Happy FriYAY Team!

There is something so special about racing & race day. Not only is it a reward for the hard training which has taken place in many months prior, it is also a reminder to us all how important it is to believe in ourselves and rise to the challenge.  With so many races cancelled & postponed and now the reemergence of so many of these events, it does take time to get that race confidence back, to be confident in the hurt locker & be brave enough to push through. Nothing beats racing, so to be on a start line is something we should all be learning from, growing from & extremely proud of our journey to get there.

Over the coming months there is some fantastic racing on around SE Qld, so make sure you put all your training to the test, be confident when you hit those start lines.

Its our time to #findit and #ownith

Over & out for today,

Alli

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Number 4

Multisport Gold parkrun on Tour N# 4 will see us venture to the very picturesque course at Surfers Paradise on the 6th November. Many of the Crew have participated on this course, a few loops around Evandale Lake, a few crossings of the new bridge, really does make it a very scenic course to run. This is a fast course, so bring out those speedy shoes!
We will finish with a swim in the Lake, saying Hello to Mr Fishy, then a stroll over the bridge for coffee & cake. Lets make this another morning of Multisport Gold Domination

The Racing Buzz

Last weekend, we had so many of our athletes on start lines & it was with such pride to see each every one of them succeed.

Raby Bay we had Jase 4th, Kath 5th & Sharyn a very proud 2nd place!

SEQ Rd 1 Trail race at Enoggera saw both Tim & Erin on start lines , with Erin finishing 2nd female outright (1st in Category) and Tim 2nd in his category.

Jesse ran the Toohey Trail 21.1km in a cracking time of 1:46:08.

Then the Sunny Coast Marathon Festival Weekend was the biggest running event in Australia this year, with over 7000 runners taking part. A huge congratulations to Trin on her epic marathon in extremely hot & humid conditions. This clocks up Trin's 14th marathon! Kate, coming off a huge week of training, used this race as prep for the HB100 race coming up in 5 weeks time. Kate ran so strong with fatigued legs to come home in a time of 1:46:07.  Coach Alli was also on the start line for the 21.1km run, and super proud of a 1:28:55 run placing her in 2nd place for the category.

Thankyou to all our Support Crew who were also out & about over the weekend :-)

A quiet weekend coming up on the racing front , however we do have Sally & Aarti both on the start line of the Brisbane to Gold Coast 100km ride on Sunday. Lets go Girls!
