Happy FriYAY Team!

It's that time of the racing year when Noosa Triathlon gets us all excited & pumped to race! This event, which is the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere, has such an vibe & atmosphere to it, the course is so pretty yet challenging & the Whos Who of the Triathlon World is wondering around town! LOL....and not to mention the best ever Expo!!

After the event was cancelled last year, the 2021 weekend is going to be bigger & better than before & will be packed with Queensland athletes!

To our crew heading up to race, have an incredible time both on & off the course, really embrace this weekend & know it is now your time to #findit & #ownit!

Over & out for today,

Alli

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Number 4

Multisport Gold parkrun on Tour N# 4 will see us venture to the very picturesque course at Surfers Paradise on the 6th November. Many of the Crew have participated on this course, a few loops around Evandale Lake, a few crossings of the new bridge, really does make it a very scenic course to run. This is a fast course, so bring out those speedy shoes!
We will finish with a swim in the Lake, saying Hello to Mr Fishy, then a stroll over the bridge for coffee & cake. Lets make this another morning of Multisport Gold Domination

Performance Sports Nutrition Seminar
Wow! What an informative and educational Performance Sports Nutrition Seminar we had last week with Nicole from Ascent Sports Nutrition.
We covered a huge range of topics including what to eat before, during and after training, the importance of micro and macro nutrients, hydration and the 3Rs of recovery!
A huge thanks to those athletes who attended, there was plenty of great questions which means we were all learning from this great seminar!
If your looking for more specific and tailored sport nutrition information to Fuel your Adventure, Nicole is our girl!
The Racing Buzz

A very busy weekend just gone, with some outstanding results from around the SEQ area! Congratulations to our Crew on start lines, it certainly was a weekend of warm weather & action!

All Schools Triathlon on Sunday saw our Pocket Rocket Bowen take out the State Title with a hard fought win & sprint finish! Bo also raced the State Aquathlon on Saturday where once again, he was victorious!

Saturday our older Pocket Rocket, Braden, raced in the State Trex Cross Country event and a huge Kudos to Bray for taking on a new challenge & coming away with the win!

Not a bad haul of Gold Medals for the Bamford Boys :-) So proud of you boys, well done!

Sunday was also the SEQ Round 2 Trail Series at Numinbah. We had representatives in both distances, with Trin & Sally tackling the grueling 7km run. Then on the Long Course of 12km, we had Coach Alli, Mashy & Kahori all happy to stay upright & finish with smiles! Great to see Jezz back on the start line again too!

And our podiums of Bangers, Tim & Erin, a huge congratulations to you all for absolutely smashing such a knarly course! You guys rock!

And as mentioned earlier, our Noosa Crew are primed & ready to go! Jase, Dorian, Andre, Kaz, Martin, Linda, Sally, Kate & Rikki ! Go hard Team & enjoy this incredible atmosphere!
