Happy FriYAY Team!

I opened my emails yesterday & read through information from Ironman Oceania pertaining to the events opening for 2022!  Like so many businesses over the last 2 years, Ironman has also taken a huge beating with cancellations & postponed races and it is really exciting to see they have opened a calendar for athletes to start making forward plans.

If you are thinking of entering any of these events, please do so when the slots open next week, as you can imagine there is so many deferrals on races that there is going to be limited spots for many events.

It is very exciting times ahead & I'm looking forward to getting out my racing calendar to make some plans and goals.

Over & out for today,

Alli

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Number 4

Multisport Gold parkrun on Tour N# 4 will see us venture to the very picturesque course at Surfers Paradise on the 6th November. Many of the Crew have participated on this course, a few loops around Evandale Lake, a few crossings of the new bridge, really does make it a very scenic course to run. This is a fast course, so bring out those speedy shoes!
We will finish with a swim in the Lake, saying Hello to Mr Fishy, then a stroll over the bridge for coffee & cake. Lets make this another morning of Multisport Gold Domination.

Multisport Gold Club Champions Series

The 2021-22 Queensland Triathlon Series {QTS} is now well under way and this is going to be the series we centre our Multisport Gold Club Championship on.

For those who want to be part of this Club Champs series, a few points to comply with:

  • Your results MUST be input into the form to the right, after each event.
  • You MUST be a member of Triathlon Queensland & MultisportGOLD.
  • You MUST wear squad kit whilst racing.
  • You MUST be smiling in all racing photos (LoL!)

The athlete with the highest score for the Queensland Triathlon Series will be awarded MALE AND FEMALE CLUB CHAMPIONS.

The Leader Board is updated after each race, so jump across to the Multisport Gold Website to see the current Leader Board. It is looking like 2 clear leaders already....

The Racing Buzz

Noosa Tri never disappoints & this year was no exception! After a cancellation last year & only Queensland competitors this year, didn't deter from the hive of activity which was in & around Noosa all weekend!

Multisport Gold was extremely well represented on Sunday & all of our amazing should be so proud of their performances. Not ideal conditions with a choppy swim & gusty winds picking up through the morning, so a huge credit Team! Crossing the finish line this year we had huge smiles from : Jase, Martin & Linda, Dorz, Andre, Sally, Kate, Lucy, Kelly, Rikki, with Kaz & Lisa in the teams section. (Did I miss anyone LOL)
