Happy FriYAY Team!
Last Saturday for our MultiSport Gold parkrun on Tour #7 at Tambourine really was such an enjoyable morning. Sure, we have all travelled to various parkrun locations in our Tour Series, but for some reason, when we think of Tambourine, we all seem to think its so far away.....when in actual fact it only a short drive up the mountain!!
For those who enjoyed running their 1st parkrun at Tambourine, wasn't it such a pretty & challenging course! I loved listening to our stories at the finish of the creek crossings, the grass, the trails, those darn punchy hills & the friendly banter which always goes on post run!!
Of course, what is a MultiSport Gold event without coffee and breakfast afterwards, and thanks to Alan & Lisa for organizing such a top café!
We all lead such hectic and busy lives, the days, weeks, months sometimes all blend into each other. There is family, work, having a life, external commitments, all of which all takes up time our precious time & energy!
It makes me so proud to see our MultiSport Gold singlets together, our happy smiling faces, our love for parkrun as well as our commitment to each other. Thankyou to all our Family for making this another very special morning doing what we love with the people who lift us higher.
Lets do This,
Alli |

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Number 8 |
| |
|
Saturday 14th May
Multisport Gold parkrun on Tour #8 will see us venture to a course not many of us have done! Yarrabilba! The course is at Darlington Parklands, Yarrabilba & is run entirely on foot paths. It is a 3 1/2 lap course, run entirely in an anti-clockwise direction, with signage stenciled onto the paths.
For those looking for a 3.5km warm up, we will meet at Logan Village, on Waterford-Tambourine Rd at 6.15am. Then after parkrun, and easy jog back to the cars. From here, we will find a coffee shop (open to suggestions!! ) to regroup & swap run stories!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLDM1oeV23s...
In true Multisport Gold style, having our squad colours over the course will be another parkrun on Tour to remember! |

A very exciting new page has been added to our Multisport Gold Website this week!
Nutrition is such a critical part of our training, fueling, recovery & good health is something which all of us, as athletes, should take very seriously! We all spend hard earned dollars on our programs, our sessions, our equipment, and it is generally our nutrition which is neglected! In fact, it should be on top of our priority list!
A number of the Crew attended the Sports Nutrition Workshop with Nicole from Ascent Sports Nutrition, so not only does our newest page have a few delicious recipes to try out, it also has a link to Nicole's business for athletes looking for specific direction from a highly regarded Accredited Sports Dietitian.
Check it out team, it really is a great new feature. You can find it in the Teams dropdown bar!
Big thanks to our IT Guru Gordo!
Enjoy ! |

Well, another big weekend of racing has come & gone with more outstanding race results!
Last Sunday we had In the Raw Trail Race through the beautiful, but hilly Numinbah Valley! Eiji successfully completed the 15km run with over 500m of elevations! And our amazing Kahori completed the 25km with a staggering 1000m of elevations! Amazing efforts by Kahori & Eiji, thankyou for being so inspiring in all you both do!
These races can't go ahead without volunteers, so a huge shout out to Tim & Erin for being Tail Walkers for the 25km :-)
Of course we also had Mooloolaba Tri on Sunday, and what an awesome weekend it was for all our Team up there racing. We had Martin & Linda, Pete & Kath, Marion & Phillip, Kate, Andre, Aarti, Matt B & Rikki all having really strong & positive races. Really proud of you all, the conditions are never easy up there so a well deserved Kudos!
This Sunday is the Daisy Hill SEQ Series trail run. Tim & Erin will be proudly on the start line for this race, with points up for grabs for the overall series winners. We know they will both give there very best on race day & we can't wait to hear our the 2021-2 Campaign finishes up! #letsdothis |
