WEEKLY GOLD TUFF STUFF

Happy FriYAY Team!

Finally, after 2 years of cancellations, we are so excited to have GCM back this weekend!  There was been much disappointment & setbacks over the last 2 years, however, it is now time to really get excited as racing at one of our favourite and best supported events is back!

All of those early mornings out training, the motivation and the determination to achieving your goals will all be worth it when you cross that finish line!

I am so excited for our entire team out there racing both Saturday and Sunday. From our 1st timers, our seasoned athletes, some are taking a step up and those chasing times, we will all be out there together putting in our best effort.

The squad tent is up for all our athletes, families & friends to use as a meeting place, somewhere to keep your gear dry, and importantly, a hub for us to cheer on our team mates over the weekend!

Be confident in your training and all those quality sessions you have banked. This race now comes down to YOU and how much you want it. There will be times out there when your mental strength will waiver and you want to quit, but the power of your mind is an incredible tool. This is the exact time when you have to really back yourself and keep the mind focused and positive.

This is a weekend of racing when not we shine as individuals, we we also shine brightly as a united team. One for all and all for one as we make our way towards those finish line feelings!

Let's do This,

Alli

Squad Kits Online Shop REMAINS OPEN
The 1st round of Squad Kit on the Online Shop has closed, however, there was a hic-up at the Champs Sys end, therefore we see the Online Shop re-opened for another 2 weeks.
Champs-Sys was the supplier we used right back in the early days, and some of the crew to this day, still have some of the original kit, so their quality and fit is second to none.
Our Online shop is quite extensive with a number of items, including winter jerseys & bibs, winter jackets, beanies and long sleeve run tops.
As you browse the Online Shop, you will notice there is a few different designs available in some of the styles. This is because there is various budgets and cuts which suit individuals. If you are unsure, you need to read through the various descriptions. I do not know a lot about each item, so please do your own research as I will be unable to offer advise on what to purchase.
I am really excited for this new release of gear, something bright & creative to make us stand out amongst the crowds!
The shop will be open until COB 13.07.22. Don't miss out on some really good cool gear Team 🙂
Delivery is approx. 4 week
The Racing Buzz

The Flirt with Dirt series has been run for another year, and its always an event which is filled with action, fitness and fun! A huge shout out to both Jase G & Sharyn for their time volunteering at these events.

With the final points scores in, we are SO proud of Kahori & Eiji not only for their consistency over the series, but for their ongoing outstanding efforts. They are the proud Category Series winners for their age groups. Kahori & Eiji are incredible athletes, role models and are a reminder to us that age is no barrier! Huge congrats to you both :-)

There is a few Upcoming events to jot into your diaries! These events will also be found on our Face Book Page.

## Each year we head out for a celebration after GCM, it is such a great time to catchup with our training buddies, congratulate, swap race day stories, embellish our recollections of the day and really enjoy a social night out! This year, we are making a change to the HarbourVue Tavern at Coomera Waters, which is a lovely relaxed atmosphere over looking the water. We do have an outdoor undercover area booked so there is space for the kids to run around (yippee say the parents!) This does mean you may need to rug up as it could be chilly! The menu is delicious so this really is one for the squad to get together to celebrate our efforts over the past few months & race day! This has been booked for Sunday 3rd July at 5.30pm.

## And Girls, don't forget to lock in Saturday 9th July for our Girls Day Out, starting with Kirra parkrun followed by breakfast at Ground Currumbin. We then have a booking at 11.00am at Bathhouse session, for hot spas & pampering. This is going to be a great morning for the Girls to do Girlie things & hang out together! Details are on our Facebook page.

Multisport Gold Take 3 parkrun on tour Number 8

Take 3 Saturday 16th July

Multisport Gold Take 3 parkrun on Tour #8, keeping our fingers crossed, will see us venture to a course not many of us have done! Yarrabilba! The course is at Darlington Parklands, Yarrabilba & is run entirely on foot paths. It is a 3 1/2 lap course, run entirely in an anti-clockwise direction, with signage stenciled onto the paths.
For those looking for a 3.5km warm up, we will meet at Logan Village, on Waterford-Tambourine Rd at 6.15am. Then after parkrun, and easy jog back to the cars. From here, we will find a coffee shop (open to suggestions!! ) to regroup & swap run stories!
