WEEKLY GOLD TUFF STUFF

Happy FriYAY Team!

Coaching is a job which I have done for over 10 years. Not only with the Multisport Gold crew, but school running teams, swim teams as well as back in the day, coaching & warmups at Coomera parkrun.

I am very fortunate in my job, I work with the most amazing and motivated athletes, friends, networks and supporters, meaning the low times really are few & far between.

The highs generally happen each day at our sessions, on race day and the social events we attend as a group.

I must say, it is difficult at times being on the sidelines watching sessions unfold, the effort being put in and the teamwork which forms. I often want to jump in and suffer with the Team, to be amongst the action and satisfaction!

Tuesday at track was one of these nights where not only did I want to jump in and suffer as well, but it was also such a highlight session with the supportive and motivating teamwork displayed through the entire set.

Watching so many of our Team putting in the hard work together, working as groups & encouraging each other, the fist pumps at the end when the last few runners came in, to watching the cool down lap walking as one group in the rain. This track session will certainly be a night I will remember as a Coach for a long time.

I know these sessions are not easy, but from the outside looking in, our entire team really does a sensational effort time & again, and I have no doubt Tuesdays track session will be in the memories for so many of us for a long time. Although I am reading out lap times, offering support and a giddy up, I am there with you all in pain, relief and pride!

Let's do This,

Alli

The Racing Buzz

Saturday 27th August

Our supermum Kath, is clocking up a massive 400 parkruns,  save the date so we can all come together and celebrate this unofficial parkrun milestone with her!

To make this a really fun morning for our Multisport Gold Family, lets have a Theme of "Your Favourite Team" colours to bring out plenty of laughter, competition and banter!
Of course, what's a Multisport Gold event without breakfast at Cafe 2 afterwards!!!!

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Number 10

Saturday 24th September

This is our parkrun on Tour #10, and yes, we certainly have been travelling all over the countryside with our parkrun on Tour adventures, and shared so much fun together!
Most of us have run this course so know it is flat, fast & a great course to target a pb, so here we come Mudgeeraba!
In true Multisport Gold style, having our squad colours on course will be another great parkrun on Tour to remember!
There is a number of choices we have in the local Mudgeeraba area for our post run breakfast & coffee, so lets do this Team!
