Happy FriYAY Team!
When was the last time you did the 5cm Bike Drop? I dare say, for most of us, a very long time.
So what exactly is the 5cm Bike Dop? Very simply, hold you bike 5cm above the ground, and drop it. LOL, don't worry, you wont break your prized possession, well, hopefully not anyway!!
But what it will do, is make some noise if there is things which need tightening, replaced or changed. Your chain might rattle which means it is too loose. Your rear drink cage might shake, so it needs to be tightened, or your lights might move meaning they need to be attached tighter.
Riding on the roads isn't always on perfectly smooth surfaces, in fact, that is very rare, so to not only make your ride safer knowing your bike wont fall apart, it will also make your ride more enjoyable knowing your bike wont crumble beneath you should you hit some uneven surfaces!
With winter over & spring here, the weather is now more favorable to riding IRL! This time of the year usually means those who have hibernated over winter, and those who have been banking the big kms, it is a great time to get the rig in tip top shape as we start clocking up the kms again.
So do yourself a favour, go drop your bike!!!
Let's do This,
Alli |

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Number 10 |
| |
|
Saturday 24th September
This is our parkrun on Tour #10, and yes, we certainly have been travelling all over the countryside with our parkrun on Tour adventures, and shared so much fun together! Most of us have run this course so know it is flat, fast & a great course to target a pb, so here we come Mudgeeraba! In true Multisport Gold style, having our squad colours on course will be another great parkrun on Tour to remember! One of our favourite cafes, Home Plate Kitchen is a short drive away, so we will have breakfast, coffee & laughs post parkrun here |
