WEEKLY GOLD TUFF STUFF

Happy FriYAY Team!

Just when I think our Multisport Gold family can't get any more awesome, the bar gets lifted again & we just keep going from strength to strength in so many ways!

Our Sunny Coast 70.3 finishers of Trinny, Matt & Andre had incredible races last Sunday and have set the standards high for the upcoming race season.

Unfortunately Aarti didn't complete the full distance on the ride however was still able to run down the finish shute.

The preparation from our athletes was absolutely perfect, ticking boxes each day, having great open communication with me and keeping their eyes on that finish shute regardless of how fatigued they were in training.

Endurance events are extremely time consuming, they do tend to become the focus of life for a short period of time, so to our athletes, your time management and organizational skills truly was outstanding. Busy people with busy lives fitting it all in.

One of the most important factors of a successful race is the support on course. Having the loudest and most energetic support crew out there last Sunday, made such a huge impact on the outcomes for our Crew. Spectating is hard work, so a huge thanks to our incredible support Crew!

I was also totally uplifted seeing all the comments on our Facebook and Strava pages from our Crew back here at home. Whilst we can't all be there in person, to show our support and congrats online means so much to our Team. The photos posted certainly did keep us up-to-date with all the action.

Team, SC70.3 was the 1st race of the season, and what a cracker it was. Whilst the race season can be a long one, knowing that we are all in this together, is going to make this season our finest and most rewarding yet.

Let's do This,

Alli

The Racing Buzz

A reminder to all our Crew, Coach Alli is away from Wednesday 14th to Monday 19th September. This means there will be NO Thursday swim squad OR Hills on 15th September.

Next race....Raby Bay on the 25th September. So have you entered? If not, why not? This is the 1st race of the QTS Series and is always an awesome event!

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Number 10

Saturday 24th September

This is our parkrun on Tour #10, and yes, we certainly have been travelling all over the countryside with our parkrun on Tour adventures, and shared so much fun together!
Most of us have run this course so know it is flat, fast & a great course to target a pb, so here we come Mudgeeraba!
In true Multisport Gold style, having our squad colours on course will be another great parkrun on Tour to remember!
One of our favourite cafes, Home Plate Kitchen is a short drive away, so we will have breakfast, coffee & laughs post parkrun here
