Happy FriYAY Team!
One of our favourite run event organizers, Steve Jackson, did it again last Friday night. He launched a Squad Running Relay for GC Run groups to race each other around a fast 3 lap-5km circuit. The concept is so simple and wow, what an awesome event it was!
Multisport Gold was so proudly represented by 5 teams, 20 runners, all proudly wearing our squad kit and putting in their best efforts, biggest smiles and positive team spirit.
Not only did we cheer on our team as they zoomed around, but we cheered on so many of the other local run groups leading, mid pack and bringing up the rear, to us we are all one big community worthy of our support.
To those who ran, and those awesome supporters, thankyou for making this event so much fun. To those who could not make it, hopefully you will be able to make it to the next event, it certainly was an event Multiport Gold was proud to be part of, and will be proudly back to support it in the future.
And....back to the soccer world cup.....GO AUSSIES
Let's do This,
Alli |

A HUGE weekend of racing coming up! A huge shout out to all our Team representatives hitting start lines this weekend.
Over in Busso, we have our Super Ironchick Kate & our Pro Male Lachy representing MSGold. Kate has been training the house down over the last 12 weeks and is looking fit, strong & healthy as she takes on her 4th Ironman. Could this be a Kona qualifier for her?
Then up the highway we have our Squad represented by Matty B, Emma & Mary on the start line at Raby Bay. This is always a fast & furious race, so race smart & stay strong :-)
And, we head down the highway to the GC50 where we are once again well represented over the endurance distances. In the 50km, we have Eiji and his motivator Kahori on the start line. They have both been putting in the big kms week after week & it is truly going to be so epic cheering them both across that 50km finish line.
In the 25km event, we are represented by Neill.......whilst in the relay a few of our teams are going head-to-head for Squad bragging rights. I know who I'm putting my money on (LOL...the team I'm in of course !!!) Alli & Bangers, Mashy & Craig, Alan & Chris, Jezz & Trin
For all our competitors at GC50, we have a squad tent allocated to us, hopefully we will be positioned next to the Norths Crew again this year, always makes for some good old fashion banter between squads LOL!! All welcome under the tent, the more the merrier right!
Team, it is a huge weekend of racing. It is our time to shine & be proud of the training we have done in our prep for these target event. Don't forget to post your pics on our FB page!! MSGold, #findit #ownit #letsdothis |
