WEEKLY GOLD TUFF STUFF

Happy 2023 Team!

A few weeks ago we were all excited for Christmas, celebrating the New Year and enjoying some down time with friends & family! How quickly time goes and we are now about to kick start 2023 in full swing! I hope you, your families & friends all had wonderful celebrations over the Festive Season.

2023. Wow. A year where so many of us have goals and dreams we want to achieve and be proud of our accomplishments. A year where we are once again united as a team, and family, as we embark of these goals, enjoy social activities and be each others greatest supporters.

In 2023, I really hope for each & every one of you great success. And, also hope you go on to make mistakes along the way. Yes, mistakes!!!

If you are making mistakes, then you are trying new things, you are experimenting with something different, you are learning, thinking, living and pushing yourself. Yes, you will be challenging yourself and the world around you. Making mistakes along the way means we are doing things we have never done before and importantly, you are creating the BEST version of you by your experiences.

So whilst it is all flowers & rainbows to say how incredible & epic 2023 is going to be, I think it is going to be even more rewarding as we all live & learn so much along the way.

Let's do This,

Alli

The Racing Buzz

The NYE Wild Earth Resolution Run & Carnival held at Emerald Lakes Golf Course was another brilliant event put on by Steve Jackson & his team! Congratulations to all our runners over all the distances, it is always so great to cheer everyone across the finish line. To make the night really special, the MSGold Crew gathered around together, celebrating 2022-2023 watching the fireworks.

This Sunday we have Trinny heading down to Hobart for the  Cadbury marathon. We all know how hard and consistently Trinny has been training over recent months, so it is going to be really exciting to have her back out where she loves to be, running a marathon! We will be cheering you all the way Trinny :-)

And the 1st QTS race of 2023 kicks off at Robina on Sunday. We have a number of the Crew on the start line for the Olympic Distance race, and we know they are going to be out there racing with the squad spirit and sportsmanship. Race smart and race hard team.

2022-2023 Squad Champions Series

MultisportGOLD is all about community and encouraging members to push (safely) individual limits and become stronger athletes.

This year we’re modifying the rules around the Club Championship to more fully acknowledge the commitment and effort required by all MultisportGOLD athletes in getting to the start line and completing any one of the event categories below. So it doesn't matter if your a triathlete, or a runner, this series is inclusive for us all! With the Triathlon season commencing as of 1st July 2022, start logging your race results & parkruns now.

Points can be earnt in ALL triathlon AND run distances, so enter your favourite races and be on the start line at parkrun each week!

It is super easy to log your points. Just head to the Website, click on the Teams Drop Down box and find Club Champs. Simply fill in the tabs and you are on your way!
