My daughter came home from school during the week and asked how my day was...my reply to her was 'Terrible!' Why???? Because the Olympics are SO addictive I hardly got any work done!!  I found myself watching final after final, heat after heat, yelling at the TV in absolute awe of the incredible achievements by so many athletes. It felt like such an unproductive work day! However I also felt incredibly grateful to be able to witness these very special Olympic Games.  Today we see the start of the Track & Field events, it is going to be another week of unproductive days I think LOL LOL!! Stage 4 Covid Return to Play Plans have been revised by the Dept of Sport & Rec QLD & it is with  great to announce there is a relaxing of the Return  to Play & Covid Industry Safe Plans. This is great news moving forward for all outdoor activities. HOWEVER, we are ALL still required to  SIGN IN with the Check in Qld App. The QR Code  is available at all sessions. Thankyou all in advance for your co-operation in adhering to the Covid rules.

We are so lucky to have outstanding organisations within the community to offer us exceptional products and service. Multisport Gold has a wonderful relationship with local & community groups, and where possible, we should be giving back to these organizations. Hands up who LOVES parkrun!!! Hands up who loves running at different locations on the Gold Coast!!! Hands up who loves some to cheer our squad members on!!! And, who loves coffee!!! If you have answered YES to all of the above, then why not come down to Paradise Point for a squad parkrun tomorrow. This isn't a race, it is the group getting together for a great morning on the course. Be ready on the start line at 7.00am!

For those athletes participating in the Sunny Coast 70.3 event is 7 weeks time, there will be an open water swim in the enclosure straight after running. A great opportunity to practice those wetsuits & open water skills! 

A reminder to all our members who have not yet rejoined Triathlon Australia & Multisport Gold for the 2021-22 Triathlon Season that registrations are now OVERDUE. There is so many benefits in becoming of member of Triathlon Australia & Multisport Gold, most importantly is the Insurance coverage you have for racing & training. And of course, everyone wants one of the new, bright & funky Multisport Gold Rugs!

  Arrive 10 mins early for a 5.30am start
• Saturday AM swimming is ON this week at  Paradise Point enclosure straight after parkrun
• Track Tuesdays at CAC PRIMARY OVAL  starting at 5.30pm
• Hills Thursday starting at 5.30pm at Adidas  Park
• KOFFEE KMs Friday. Departing Highland  Reserve Roundabout at 5.15am and the M&L  Roundabout 5.20am. Destination is Café 7 for  6am brews!
• Sunday Ride Is ON this week departing at 5.30am from Oxenford Lake. We will be heading to Beechy for some fun on the mountain!
