Happy FriYAY Team!

We all woke to the rain coming down last Saturday morning, and it could've been so easy to take the soft option & just roll over in bed on a wet & miserable morning!

However, the Multisport Gold parkrun on Tour #4 saw an amazing turnout at Surfers Paradise parkrun. There was so many smiles, laughter, banter & squad spirit as we all gathered on the start line and rain stopped!

parkrun is part of our weekly routines, to be at a different venue with the squad really made for an enjoyable, and somewhat competitive (!!!) run.  Rain, hail or shine, parkrun is part of our culture so a huge thankyou to those who made it to Surfers Paradise.....and breakfast :-)

Its morning like these which brings us all together for the love of health, fitness, the great outdoors and our amazing squad.

Over & out for today,

Alli

Multisport Gold parkrun on tour Number 5

Saturday 8th January

Multisport Gold parkrun on Tour N# 5 will see us venture to a new play ground for some of us, Varsity Lakes. The course is mainly flat, which means it will be fast! Running with the beautiful Lake Orr as the backdrop will make for a really picturesque course.
With so many weekends in December booked up with races & Events, we will leap forward into 2022 and kick off our Tour Series with something new & exciting!
For those who are keen for a post run recovery swim, we will head to Miami Aquatic Centre. Of course, after training we will head for coffee & breakfast ðŸ™‚
Look forward to seeing our Multisport Gold bling out in force once again!

Multisport Gold Club Champions Series

The 2021-22 Queensland Triathlon Series {QTS} is now well under way and this is going to be the series we centre our Multisport Gold Club Championship on.

For those who want to be part of this Club Champs series, a few points to comply with:

  • Your results MUST be input into the form to the right, after each event.
  • You MUST be a member of Triathlon Queensland & MultisportGOLD.
  • You MUST wear squad kit whilst racing.
  • You MUST be smiling in all racing photos (LoL!)

The athlete with the highest score for the Queensland Triathlon Series will be awarded MALE AND FEMALE CLUB CHAMPIONS.

The Leader Board is updated after each race, so jump across to the Multisport Gold Website to see the current Leader Board. It is looking like 2 clear leaders already....

The Racing Buzz

Whilst this coming weekend doesn't have a huge amount of racing on, we are represented at various events.

Sharyn is heading up to Hamilton Island to race the Triathlon on Saturday! This is one of the knarliest Sprint distance races around, however it is also one of the most picturesque! Sharyn, have an amazing time & race hard!

Sunday we have Aarti participating in the MS-Swim-A-Thon at Runaway Bay. Aarti is part of a team in this event & we wish many many laps!!!

Last Sunday was the Bridge to Brisbane fun run, and Multisport Gold was proudly represented by Trin & Jezz. Trin, as always, put in a solid race, and Jezz had a ripper & was able to crack the 40 min mark! Well done guys, awesome effort.

Last Tuff Stuff I congratulated all our athletes who participated at Noosa....but I always forget someone :-( LIZ, congratulations on your race, it was huge to see you do so well & my apologies for missing your name last week.
